Hello community,
I have changed the name of this fundraiser, as well as the amount, and now, the story. This used to be a fundraiser for a family because their loved one was missing. Unfortunately, on September 7th, 2019, Heather Rai Waters's body was found. She is a victim of domestic violence. Her husband has been arrested on numerous charges, including first degree murder. While giving her family the privacy they need to process this, grieve, and figure out how they will go on from here, they need support. That includes financially. They now have to plan and pay for a service, including flying in one of her children from out of state while continuing to care for them, all while trying to get back on their feet themselves from not being able to work during these couple of months. Any little bit will help. Heather has a legacy... we as a community will see that not only justice is served, but her legacy lives on! Including through her children! Please consider helping this family, in addition to keeping them close to your heart in the coming days, months, years. They appreciate the support greatly. The money will be going directly into the hands of Joanna. Thank you all.
