Heating & Eating Living & Providing ( DEPHER )

Hello
My name is James Anderson from a community initiative called Depher CiC uk, we are a well known and well established community initiative that has been delivering direct life saving support to thousands of families in the United Kingdom since 2017.
Depher – which stands for Disability and Elderly Plumbing and Heating Emergency Repair – was founded by James Anderson (no, not the cricketer!) in 2017 after a phone call changed his career and life forever.
We are now all facing a very uncertain year in 2022 after the 2 years we have faced with many issues caused by Covid-19, we are still not free from covid but we are learning to live with it.
The next problem we all face, that will effect a lot more families and vulnerable people than covid, is the cost of living and the price hikes we will see in April 2022, there will be a massive 51% minimum on Gas and Electric alone.
This will create massive pockets of poverty in every community, the communities that we all grew up in and live in happily, this will have a High impact on the lives of thousands of children.
We have for many years supported thousands of families alongside thousands of elderly, vulnerable and disabled members of the public, giving them not only FREE boilers and plumbing but also FOOD, ELECTRIC, GAS and much more.
Our Multi award winning community initiative has many high profile followers and supporters including the Actors HUGH GRANT and CAROL DRINKWATER, amongst many more.
We are now raising funding, hopefully with your help so we can combat FUEL & FOOD poverty that will become massive within the next 3 months, we have asked the government and MPs to help but to no avail.
That means the the work we and many other charities have to do in the coming year will be very difficult, but we know with your support it will be easier to succeed.
Depher is in the process of becoming a charity from a CIC to help with finances, but the pandemic was a troubling time for us.
The combination of an increase in demand for our services plus a reduction in donations meant money in the bank went from £137,000 to £23,000 and we didn’t know how much longer we could continue.
Thankfully, social media awareness has seen donations increase again and Depher now do so much more than solely heating repairs.
We provide food bank shops from Tesco, top up electricity meters, ensure vulnerable children have a birthday present and cake – the list goes on.
James our Director is also on a mission to seek out rogue traders and ensure they are reported.
Our Mission and promise that we have delivered for years will continue:
Emergency electric top-ups
Emergency gas top-ups
Emergency food deliveries
Emergency plumbing and heating repairs
Children's surprise birthday presents for poverty effected families
Children's clothing and foot ware initiative
Terminal illness support with all household maintenance
Hugh Grant is a big supporter of Depher CiC and the work we do in the United Kingdom, he has supported us with great donations adding up to £25,000, thank you so much, Sir
Every single penny that is donated, including profits from private work that we complete goes direct to the communities that need help, real help for real people and not CEO or DIRECTOR and SHAREHOLDER bonuses, we believe in transparency, that is what you get, always.
So, how can people provide support to Depher?
• Depher still provides plumbing and heating services to all, so if you’re able to pay for their services and need work carrying out, any profit will be re-invested into the good work they do in our community;
• Make a donation, either by contacting them here or via this GoFundMe page;
• Share this article far and wide to get the word out!
