Hello , my name is Tracy . My father, Loren aka Bill Henry has been battling kidney disease for a few years. He was on dialysis and on an extreme diet change . His kidneys improved and then got worse all over again . On top of kidney failure he battled lung cancer as well . A few days ago he was admitted to the hospital where his body became tired and is slowly shutting down. With all of that taking place , he has COVID and a blood infection. He is currently on oxygen , as his oxygen levels are extremely low . This afternoon we made the decision to put him into hospice. He will never be able to speak , walk , or breathe on his own ever again . I believe we only have 1 or 2 more days with him before he makes his journey to be with my grandparents.
Back in 1954 my grandparents bought some plots but with there only being one left and no way of getting a hold of my aunt's ,he will not be able to use that one. He is a good man and deserves to be with his family. Since we cannot cover the cost to get him buried, we are hoping to get some help to get him cremated, so he can be with his 3 daughters and 10 grandchildren. The VA will be trying help with the cost but unfortunately it's just more than we anticipated.
We will never forget his role that he placed as a father and mother , when our own mother walked out. He worked so hard his entire life to make sure we had things and he always put us before himself. Our hearts are hurting but he will soon no longer be in pain.
All the money will go to my sister Jenny, so she can start to organize his cremation. Any amount helps . Asking for help is so hard especially since many of you don't actually know him . We are lost as what else to do . We will only have a few days to come up with the funds. We appreciate you all. Thank you. It means more than you know.
