Sejak tanggal 5 Juli terjadi hujan lebat di Gorontalo, sebuah kota di bagian utara pulau Sulawesi, Indonesia. Curah hujan yang tinggi menyebabkan meluapnya sungai, banjir, dan tanah longsor yang telah memakan ribuan korban jiwa.
Bagi saya sendiri, saya sangat diberkati tinggal di Belanda, dimana terdapat sistem drainase air hujan yang berfungsi. Sayangnya hal ini tidak terjadi pada sebagian besar keluarga saya dan semua orang yang tinggal di Gorontalo.
Tolong, berdonasi sekarang. Ketinggian air meningkat hingga hampir 1,5 meter. Seluruh rumah terendam air, warga kehilangan harta bendanya dan tidak mempunyai akses terhadap air bersih, makanan, pakaian, dan fasilitas lainnya.

Since the 5th of July there is heavy rainfall in Gorontalo, a city in the northern part of the Indonesian island Sulawesi. This heavy rainfall has caused overflowing of rivers, floods ("banjir") and landslides ("longsor"), that has already made thousands of victims.
As for myself, I am very blessed to live in the Netherlands, where there are functional rainwater drainage systems present. This is unfortunately not the case for a huge part of my family and all of the other people living in Gorontalo.
Please, donate now. The waterlevel has risen to almost 1.5 meter. All houses are under water, citizens have lost their belongings and have no acces to clean water, food, clothes, and other amenities.
