Supporting the Heck Family

Pastor Charles Heck died unexpectedly in his sleep on July 3, 2024. He was 47.

Charles was Teaching Pastor at Wichita Bible Church, husband to Andrea, father to Jackson (19), Josiah (17), and Ethan (13), and friend, mentor, and shepherd to many.

Charles’ sudden passing leaves the family with financial needs. Please give generously to support this family in this most difficult hour, and to honor the Heck’s decades of faithful gospel ministry.

A few years ago, talking about another unexpected death, Charles wrote this :

Here is the brutal truth: death doesn’t always give us an ETA. Death just shows up. Unless, we are on “our death bed,” we probably won’t know the timing of our death.

It could come unexpectedly – in our sleep, at the end of a terrible car crash, a sudden heart attack, etc. And we know – unless the Lord comes back first – we will meet death.

Get ready, brothers and sisters. Prepare your soul for eternity. Make sure that you know Christ as Lord and Savior (I John 5:13). If you don’t call upon right now. Believe in Him (Acts 16:31). Repent of your sins and trust Him alone.

Don’t wait for another day – that you cannot guarantee will come.
