Please help Hector. He is in a dire situation.
Hector Molina as you know owns Hector Painting, LLC, which is a high-quality painting business working in the Greater Birmingham area for many years. Hector and his team are honest and hard-working and take immense pride in their work. Hector was involved recently in a devastating auto accident that left him injured and with no form of transportation. He is lucky to be alive but he badly needs your help to get back on his feet.
Here's Hector's horror story: After dropping off a female co-worker in Bessemer on April 24, in the middle of the day (at 4:30pm), Hector was hit by a drunk driver doing 65 mph in a 35 mph zone. Hector was taken to the hospital for his injuries and is still recovering. His all-important new 2019 low mileage working van (shown in picture) was totalled beyond repair. The other driver was uninsured and barely lived through the accident; he also has a very long rap sheet with a history of criminal charges including public intoxication, driving without a license, driving without insurance and domestic violence. Hector's van and all of ladders and other vital equipment were destroyed.
Hector was insured but unfortunately the insurance sold to him covered uninsured motorist bodily injury but NOT property damage for uninsured motorists. He is pursuing payment from the drunk driver but those odds of collection are next to zero. Hector paid a huge part of his savings -- $21,000 in cash -- to buy the low mileage 2019 van. It is now worthless. At least one thousand dollars of ladders were also destroyed. To make matters worse, in early May, as it sat in front of his house, Hector's still damaged van was broken into and all of his valuable tools were stolen. His livelihood is now in serious jeopardy.
Those who know Hector know that he is honest, hard-working and a law-abiding citizen. One recent client of Hector's has pledged $5,000 to help Hector get back on his feet with new ladders and equipment. Will you please help him so that he can buy a new van?
Many of us are very blessed. Could you please help Hector with a donation of $250, $500, $1,000 or more? Thank you.
