Rev. Dr. Hector "Pastor Benny" Custodio.

We, the family, friends and community of Rev. Dr. Hector “Pastor Benny" Custodio, are asking for your help with donations for medical/bills and Funeral preparations.

For the past eleven months, Benny has been fighting a rare form of brain cancer (rhabdomyosarcoma). After months of treatment, the doctor acknowledged that the treatment was working back in June and that tumor had shrunk to the point of declaring remission. Two weeks after his next set of follow-up exams, the doctor discovered cancer had spread to the other side of his brain and down to the lower back. Thus, having to start another series of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Pastor Benny could not fully recover his strength from the first set of treatments so the second set has been too much to endure. He weakened more and lost weight excessively, he could not eat, and had many other unfortunate complications.

During all this, Benny’s wife, Jennifer, has been faithfully by his side for each Doctor visit and treatment. During each hospitalization, she remained 24 hours daily, lovingly caring for her husband and advocating on his behalf. Her dedication to our beloved Pastor Benny resulted in her losing her job, which then depleted their savings, and now the family is left struggling to pay back bills.

The Doctors informed Jennifer (Benny’s wife) that they could not do anything more than to prepare and make him comfortable during his last hours/days. *** On 11/11/22 Our beloved Benny has gone home to our Father ***

We know that Pastor Benny has helped thousands of people and many communities around the US and overseas with pastoral care and counseling, food, clothing, shelter, and most importantly delivered the word of God. Now, he needs his community to help with a proper send-off and making sure his family is not left struggling.
