Hectors hit and run vet bill

Hi my name is Jade the owner of Hector who is 21 months old

last night 11/12/2022 around 6.30pm along Haine Road ramsgate hector was out with my ex partner and children when he got spooked and run up the footpath towards spratling lane, Andrew was chasing after hector waving his arms around so that on coming traffic could see him chasing the dog and to slow down, hector run out into the road and was hit by a Black Mercedes (I do have reg and has been reported to the police) the driver did not stop and drove off

Hector was taken straight to the emergency vets in Herne Bay kent where he was given oxygen, pain relief and was monitored over night as understandably was in a lot of shock and pain

Hector is now back home after not being able to afford any more veterinary treatment (X-ray and scanning) my own fault for not already having pet insurance set up I know! I have had to borrow money from family and friends already to cover the £835.80 already paid putting myself into debt but Hector is on the road to recovery and that is all I care about! the fact he is still alive and doing well back at home with me and my three young boys. Dogs complete a family home and he really is the most loyal loving dog especially to my middle son who is diagnosed Autistic who is absolutely over the moon to have his little friend back home with us to recover from this
