Heesch Family Fire Recovery
Donation protected
On August 3, 2017, residents of an apartment building in Arcadia, California woke up to a blaze ripping through their complex.
The fire destroyed several units in the building, and a number of families have been displaced as a result.

Among those now without a home is a dear friend of mine, Monica Heesch, along with her husband (Bryan) and young son (Little Bryan). Their unit was directly underneath one of the units that caught fire. As a result, it suffered extensive water damage from the fire-fighting efforts, and with the ceiling on the verge of collapse, their unit has been condemned. They are not being allowed back in at all to retrieve anything that might be salvagable.
After 15 years living in the same place, the Heesch family is now scrambling to find a new home.
The less they need to worry about during this stressful time, the better, and having a little extra financial security will go a long way in that regard.
They need your help.
We are asking that you please donate any amount you can to assist with their moving costs, clothing, and other anticipated and unanticipated expenses that may come up as they figure out their next steps. We're raising funds through GoFundMe, and Monica also has a PayPal account that you can send money to, if you prefer that method (please contact for details).
Please give if you can.
Your time and consideration are greatly appreciated! Please help ensure that the Heesch family lands feet-first, and thank you!
