HeForShe McGill 2021-22 Fundraiser

HeForShe McGill is a student-run organisation inspired by the UN Women Gender Equality Solidarity Movement. As a group, we seek to invite men and people of all genders to stand in solidarity with women to create a visible and united force for gender equality. For the 2021-2022 academic year, HeForShe McGill has chosen to fundraise for Auberge Madeleine, a local Montreal charity.

Auberge Madeleine's mission is to welcome, house and support women of 18 and over living alone in a situation of homelessness. The shelter offers stays ranging from a few weeks to a few months in response to immediate needs. Auberge Madeleine features feminist driven interventions that place women at the heart of their action strategies, allowing them to resolve difficult situations.
