Heidi & Gillian’s IVF Puzzle

Hi, So as many of you know Heidi and I have been going through fertility treatments for a bit now. This process has been anything but easy and after our last transfer we really felt hopeless, there seemed like there was no where to go from there. We had so much hope our first IVF cycle, I genuinely did not think there was a way out of that cycle without a baby and my medical team would say the same thing. My doctor was just as confused and shocked by this news as we were, which made us feel so validated that we weren’t crazy for thinking this was it. I felt so hopeless these last weeks, we weren’t sure what our next steps were and how things would play out, we finally had our cycle review with our doctor and I finally feel like we have some answers/ideas on what is going on, after a chemical pregnancy in April and losing our 4 embyos this last time it has been extreamly hard on us. Our doctor diagnosed me with recurrent pregnancy loss, and ontop of my PCOS, my egg quality was not where they would want a 22 year old healthy female to be. So we decided to move forward with reciprocal IVF which means we will be using Heidi’s egg, but I will still carry. Because we have to do this, it intales some additional costs we were not anticipating and unfortunately neither of our insurances cover anything for fertility treatments and we’ve been completely out of pocket which adds up very quick. Because all of our embryos didn’t make it last time, we are forced to start from square one again. So, we decided to do a fundraiser to help fund our next IVF cycle! If you know Heidi and I, you know how hard it is for us to ask for help, so I hope you know that we will be forever greatful to anyone who is able to donate to help us. For the fundraiser, we will be using a 500 piece puzzle. Puzzle pieces are $25 a piece and we will write your name on the back of the puzzle pieces whenever you donate and hang it in our nursery one day so that we will be able to look at the puzzle and be reminded of all the amazing people who made it possible to get to where we will be one day.

Once we reach all 500 pieces of the puzzle being bought, we will give away two 2 $500 visa gift cards randomly. You will be entered in one time for every puzzle piece you buy (example 5 puzzle pieces= five entries). We will give away the 2 gift cards the second we reach 500 pieces sold!
