Heidi Schlenzig Foundation: Healing and Hope
Donation protected
On August 7th, 2024, we tragically lost our beloved Heidi Schlenzig, whose passion for helping others and deep care for mental health touched all who knew her. Heidi had a beautiful dream of becoming a therapist. She struggled in her adult life to manage the complex trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, and addiction, often seeking hospitals and doctors who did not find her the help she needed. Sadly, her journey was cut short due to toxic medications prescribed by her doctors.
We refuse to let Heidi’s memory fade. Her love, creativity, and boundless compassion will live on through a foundation we are creating in her name. The Heidi Schlenzig Foundation will provide much-needed mental health services in Bucks County, particularly for those facing BPD and trauma, who often find that current resources are either too limited or too expensive.
This foundation will ensure that Heidi's dream of helping others is realized, offering care and support to those who need it most—people who deserve better access to healing. With your help, we will take her legacy forward and create a place of hope, healing, and compassion for all.
Your contributions will go directly toward establishing this foundation, bringing crucial services to those struggling with mental health challenges, and ensuring that no one has to face these battles alone. Together, we can honor Heidi’s life and make a lasting impact.
Thank you for helping us turn our grief into something beautiful that will continue Heidi's spirit of love and care for others.
