Heidi got the call and will be receiving a desperately needed kidney transplant July 22, 2019!
It's been two long years of waiting and praying for a kidney to become available. Disease had destroyed hers with regular dialysis her only hope of survival, and that's not a solution long-term.
Heidi is a mom to 3, teacher of many, wife of 1 very blessed man, CAREgiver to elders, and friend to many, many people. The blessing of this surgery comes at a high cost to all who depend on her for so much, as well as ongoing cost for medical bills and incidentals.
Your contribution will provide: an emergency flight home for her husband who works out of state, replacement for her income during this recovery period, transportation for her family to Omaha while she recovers in the hospital, meals and medications she will need for life.
