Help for Teacher Angel Retanan’s Cancer Treatment

Hi, My name is Regina and I am raising funds for my previous high school teacher who reached out recently, sharing his story about his recent cancer diagnosis.

Teacher Angel, our beloved educator in Maputo, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer and will have to undergo a lengthy chemotherapy and surgical treatment.

Anybody who had him as a teacher would agree that he is a talented, nurturing, funny and caring teacher who with his warmth, dedication, and passion contributed immensely to our love for learning and personal growth as high schoolers.

To those who do not know him, T. Angel was a high school teacher in Maputo, Mozambique Africa for 22 years. He raised his 3 lovely children in Maputo City, along with his supportive wife. Over the years of hard work and dedication, the family decided to return to the Philippines as his children were also entering university. Unfortunately, he now suffers from cancer.

We know this journey will be a challenging one, not only emotionally but also financially. So to help ease this burden on T. Angel and his family, we have created this GoFundMe to provide them with the support they need during this time.

Your contributions will go directly toward medical expenses, daily living costs, and anything else he and his family need as they navigate this difficult chapter.
