Helft N. und S. ihre Abschiebung zu verhindern!

N. und S.* benötigen dringend finanzielle Unterstützung von 4500 €, für die Beschaffung von Identifikationsdokumenten und um Rechtsberatung zu erhalten, da sonst die Streichung lebensnotwendiger Sozialhilfe, so wie eine anstehende Abschiebung drohen. Deine Spende, egal ob groß oder klein, macht einen Unterschied im Leben dieser beiden jungen Menschen!

N. (22) und S. (24), zwei junge Menschen aus Kamerun, sind vor knapp zwei Jahren legal nach Weißrussland gereist, um dort jeweils ihr Studium der Ingenieurwissenschaften fortzusetzen. Der Ukrainekrieg, welcher wenige Monate nach ihrer Ankunft in Weißrussland began, hat auch dort die Situation für Migrant*innen erschwert und den dortigen Rassismus gegenüber schwarzen Menschen verstärkt. Sie wurden aufgefordert das Land zu verlassen, jedoch war es ihnen aufgrund ihrer politischen Aktivitäten nicht mehr möglich sicher nach Kamerun zurückzukehren.

N. und S. haben sich auf die gefährliche und beschwerliche Reise zu Fuß nach Deutschland gemacht, wo sie Asyl beantragt haben. Leider wurde ihr Asylantrag abgelehnt, so dass sie nun mit einer drohenden Abschiebung rechnen müssen. Trotz all der Schwierigkeiten mit denen sie konfrontiert sind, nehmen sie aktiv am gesellschaftlichen Leben teil, lernen fleißig die deutsche Sprache, setzen sich für ihre Mitmenschen ein und engagieren sich ehrenamtlich in verschiedenen Menschenrechtsorganisationen. Sie streben eine handwerkliche Ausbildung an, die es ihnen ermöglicht, in ihrer neuen Heimat einen gesellschaftlichen Beitrag zu leisten und sich ein stabiles und selbstständiges Leben aufzubauen.

Ihre derzeitige Situation ist jedoch alles andere als ideal. N. und S. haben ein Arbeitsverbot, sind gezwungen in einem Abschiebelager zu wohnen und sind auf einen bestimmten Bezirk beschränkt (Residenzpflicht), ohne die Möglichkeit zu haben sich zu integrieren. Dies lässt sie in ständiger Angst und Sorge um ihre ungewisse Zukunft leben.

Wir können N. und S. dabei unterstützen ein Leben in Sicherheit zu führen! Mit diesem Spendenaufruf sollen wichtige Ausgaben, wie z. B. Rechtsberatung, Beschaffung wichtiger Dokumente (Reisepässe und Geburtsurkunden), sowie deren Übersetzung gedeckt werden.

N. and S.* are in need of urgent financial support of 4500€ to support their struggle to stay in Germany. The money will go towards acquiring their identity documents and towards legal help/support, a process which is necessary for them to receive necessary social benefits and to prevent deportation. Your donation, even if it’s just a few euros, will make a real difference in their lives!

N. (22) and S. (24) are two young people from Cameroun. Two years ago, they travelled to Belarus to continue their studies in engineering there. The war in Ukraine, which started a few months after their arrival in Belarus, worsened the situation in the country for migrants considerably and racism towards Black people increased. Both students were asked to leave Belarus, but because of their political activism, it was no longer possible for them to return to and live safely in Cameroun.

N. and S. started on the dangerous journey to Germany on foot, where they applied for asylum. Unfortunately, their asylum request was denied, and they are now living in constant fear of deportation. Despite all these challenges and difficulties, they are actively participating in civil society, learning German, are engaged in their local community, and volunteer for different human rights organizations. They want to start an apprenticeship and lead a stable and self-sufficient life.

However, their current situation is less than ideal. Both N. and S. are not allowed to work, forced to live in a deportation center, and not able to leave the assigned district (Residenzpflicht), thus not even given the chance to integrate and build up a life here. They are in constant fear about their very uncertain future.

We want to support N. and S. in living a life in safety and security, without the constant threat of deportation hanging over them! This call for donations is meant to cover important expenses for their fight to stay in Germany and build up a life here – the donations will go towards legal consultations, acquiring important documents like passports, birth certificates, and school diplomas, and the respective translations.

Your donation will help with any of these costs:

- 150€ for an initial legal consultation with a lawyer

- 200€ / per hour for every additional consultation – usually, 4 to 5 consultations are necessary

- 170€ registration costs to apply for a passport at the embassy of Cameroon

- 150€ to pay at the embassy for the completion of the passport

- 100€ to get the birth certificate as well as parents’ documents from Cameroon

- 75€ to translate the birth certificate from French to German

- 150€ for Cameroon identity card

- 75€ to translate the Cameroon identity card

- 55€ for marital status certificate

- 55€ for certificate of no impediment (to marriage)

- 170€ verification procedures

- 100€ costs of registration (Anmeldung)

The money will help N. and S. in their fight to stay, to start studying and working again, and live in safety. Any amount, no matter how small or big, will help these two young people. Thank you!
