Helix Electric - LA Foodbank Support

Since 1973, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has distributed more than 1.9 billion pounds of food.

The Food Bank collects food from a wide variety of resources. With the help of hundreds of thousands of volunteers annually and an agency network of more than 600 partner agencies, they serve more than 900,000 people on a monthly basis. In 2023 alone, the Food Bank provided 115 million pounds of food and other products to at-risk children, seniors, adults and families in Los Angeles County

To respond to the current wildfire crisis in Los Angeles, the Food Bank is stepping up, providing meals to families and individuals who have lost everything, coordinating their efforts and partner organizations through their "Find Food/Pantry Locator web page.

Their Mission Statement? "No one goes hungry in LA County"
