Help Hellen represent GB at the World Bench Press

Hi my name is Hellen and I started powerlifting to help with my mental health conditions and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. I found I loved lifting and the calming effect it has on me, its changed my life! After winning silver at the British Bench Press in March 2024 I have been nominated for the national team to represent Great Britain at the World Bench Press Championships in Austin, Texas at the end of May 2024. Due to my previous mental ill health I can't afford to do this without your help!

I have to pay my flights, accommodation, anti-doping fees and for my team kit, over the next 2 months to be able to take up this amazing opportunity to represent my country internationally.

I want to show that an athlete with a serious Mental Health condition who is neurodivergent (or neurospicy as I like to call it), can achieve amazing things they never thought possible and inspire others to do the same. I want to stand proudly on the platform, scars and all, for the world to see!
