Help 100 kids in Ghana receive basic education

Hello,
Thank you so much for your interest/continued support in launching G.O.D. (Ghana Outreach December).
I’m Louisa Essuman from Cape Coast Ghana, an alum of the Right To Dream Academy and a current third year Civil Engineering student at the Milwaukee School Of Engineering in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
Cape Coast is a historic fishing community and one of the most popular tourist hubs in West Africa. However, the literacy rate amongst children in the city is quite low as many of them stop schooling due to the lack of funds to purchase basic educational materials.
I grew up in this city up until I got scouted to attend RTD in 2013. At RTD I was encouraged to give back and pursue a purpose driven lifestyle. Even after a decade, I hold these values very dearly and I try to live intentionally with everything that I do.
I‘ve never forgotten about Cape Coast and I have annually returned to see my family, friends and to identify ways I could help to uplift this beautiful city. This place is a big part of why I'm pursuing a Civil Engineering degree.
Over the years, my mom and I have tutored kids in English, Mathematics and Fante (our native language), as well as purchased school uniforms for several kids. I’m lucky to have parents who could afford these things for me. Their belief in the power of education has encouraged me to continue learning wherever I find myself. I want to give people the opportunity to go learn through G.O.D.
The purpose of G.O.D. is to provide educational opportunities and materials to kids in Ghana. With this, we give them the chance to attend school, a place that can truly change their lives for the better.
Together with my partner in this, Mark Yeeles, we've secured a partnership with “Vessel,” a quality brand that cares a lot about providing tools for people to excel and fulfill their purpose. With Vessel’s (https://vesselgolf.com/pages/buy-a-bag-give-a-bag) “buy a bag, give a bag,” we’ve secured 100 backpacks that will be helping these students in their educational journey.
With your donation, we’ll be able to help 100 students who wouldn’t otherwise afford materials such as notebooks, textbooks, pens and pencils, uniforms attend school without a worry in the world about these basic items.
Any amount is greatly appreciated and you’ll be receiving a highlight video from me of what your money was used for by February 2024 if you drop your email address below too.
Be part of this movement, one city at a time.
Thank you so much and G.O.D. bless you!
