Help 10-Week-Old Bristol Beat Pneumonia

Bristol is one of over 20 kittens rescued from a tough situation at a local Costa Mesa boatyard. At just 7 weeks old, he and his siblings were found in desperate need of medical attention. Thankfully, they were all taken in by Oppurrtunities Cat Rescue, a small but dedicated group based out of Petsmart on 17th Street in Costa Mesa, supported by amazing local fosters and volunteers.

While Bristol's siblings have made great strides in their recovery, this sweet little guy has been struggling to overcome his illness. This past weekend, things took a turn for the worse, and he developed pneumonia. After multiple emergency vet visits, Bristol's medical bills have now surpassed $3,500, and he's still not out of the woods.

We’re reaching out to ask for your help. The rescue’s funds have been stretched to the limit, but we aren’t ready to give up on Bristol. He’s a gentle, loving kitten who deserves a chance at the happy, healthy life that his siblings are starting to enjoy.

Right now, Bristol is receiving intensive care at an emergency vet clinic, where he’s in a nebulizer to help him breathe. His sister Brandi has been a constant source of comfort, snuggling up to keep him warm, but now that he’s in the clinic, he’s fighting this battle on his own.
