Help 10-Year-Old Kristina from Nepal Fight Rare Disease

Hi, my name is Darren and i first met Kristina's father Keshab, who kindly acted as my guide while trekking in Nepal 10 years ago. I recently heard the sad news that his 10 year old daughter, Kristina, is suffering from a very rare condition called Bare Lymphocyte Syndrome Type 1. Through this fund raising campaign, i hope to help the family meet the medical expenses ahead.

The Story

Kristina is a bright and spirited child who loves to play with her friends and dreams of becoming a Doctor one day. However, her life took a drastic turn when she was diagnosed with Bare Lymphocyte Syndrome Type 1, a rare genetic disorder that severely compromises her immune system. Without proper treatment, Kristina is highly susceptible to infections that her body cannot fight off.

The Challenge

In Nepal, access to specialized medical treatments like Immunorel is extremely limited and prohibitively expensive. Kristina's family, who rely on a modest income from farming, cannot afford the cost of this life-saving medication. The cost of Immunorel treatment for six months, along with hospital visits and necessary medical care, amounts to $10,000USD. This is an insurmountable amount for Kristina's family, but with your help, we can make a difference.
