Help 11 year old Charlie get his own Frame Runner
Donation protected
Charlie is an 11 year old young man born very premature with a diagnosis of spastic paraplegic cerebral palsy.
He is a full time wheelchair user and found it difficult to find both friends with CP and engage in sport without feeling left out.
The impact frame running has had on Charlie has been immense. Not only has he managed to take part in frame running but also feel part of a team.
Charlie has had a tough year this year recovering from bilateral hip reconstruction surgery.
Not only did his fellow team members support him prior to surgery but have encouraged him and supported him in recognising his achievements post surgery, building up his confidence and allowing Charlie grow as a person. Frame running has been an integral part of his life since he joined and we are very grateful for the continued work and support of Charlie’s coach Claire.
We are fundraising to buy Charlie his own frame runner so he can use it whenever he wants as well as attending the Manchester club that has a session once a week
