Hi, my name is Cavonae Gilliam

Our hearts are heavy today as we awake to the loss of our home that belonged to our family for many generations beginning with our great-grandmother. This house was a safe haven to our family and friends. A home where many celebrations were had and even more milestones were met. This fire not only destroyed our home but it also stole the life of our family dog, Cash. We were unable to rescue Cash and our hearts are completely broken.

Our grandmother owned this house for decades. She passed away during Covid and this fire destroyed every memory of her. She passed away on January 8th, 2021 and 4 years later on the anniversary of her death her home was swallowed by the flames of the Eaton fire.

We are asking for help from our community for resources and donations of any kind that will help us. We appreciate every dollar given and every prayer said. We express our sincere gratitude during this difficult time.
