Running Across the Sahara Desert for Clean Water!

Tax deductible
Morocco has always been very dear to me. I have hosted a travel conference in Marrakech annually, and for many years, I led adventure tours throughout the country. Two years ago, while I was visiting, Morocco was hit by a devastating earthquake. For two weeks, I aided villagers in the mountain region, and at that time, I made a promise that I would return and do more.

I am now returning to Morocco to fulfill my commitment and the promise I made to this community.

In a few short days, I will be running the MARATHON DES SABLES THE LEGENDARY, a 252 km marathon across the Sahara Desert in Morocco. I am doing this not just to take on the biggest challenge of my life but for a cause that is very close to my heart, supporting the Douar Ait Souka community. Every step I take will help bring this village closer to having access to clean drinking water.

Located about an hour away from Marrakech, Douar Ait Souka is a Berber village located in the Imlil Valley within the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. With your generous donations, no matter the size, we will be able to construct an eco-friendly water solution for 120 families. This sustainable design will ensure long-term community benefits.

Following the completion of the build, I plan to revisit the community to ensure accountability and celebrate the fruits of your generosity.

As I prepare for this epic adventure, your unwavering support will be my motivation. Let's go!!!
