HELP 2 HORSE FRIENDS STAY ALIVE AND THRIVE
Rebel (24) and Miller (34), two cool horse friends, would have spent another lonely year in pasture if they didn’t have each other.  Their stable took a downturn in the pandemic, and that would have been the last year of their lives.  The friends were going to be put down this month, November 2020. 


For years the two worked giving trail rides to beginners, the young riders thrilled to be on horseback.  Now they need people to help them out, paying for the costs of their care until they find a new home.  Standing around for nearly a year Rebel’s arthritic knee has gotten worse, so there will be expensive vet costs, x-rays, and lots of rehab for him.  Hopefully, he will be adopted by a cherished family with young kids wanting to care for him, or to be the best companion for another senior horse who need a friend with a sense of humor.  Old man Miller has no health issues, but just needs unconditional love and caring in his senior years, and of course, to be with his friend Rebel. 


Please donate whatever you can to give these two friends a chance to live long, peacefully, pain-free, and with love.  I am a 15 yr old who set up this page to save Rebel and Miller when I heard about them.  I am happy to say that right now both are safely on their way to a 6-month foster home because of the collaboration of two non-profits who stepped in on a leap of faith that if you do the right thing the money will come.  Saffyre Sanctuary, who rescued them and will own them until their adoption and who the money goes to, and volunteers for The Horse Project in Santa Barbara who will care for them in foster.  Now they need your financial support to care for Rebel and Miller.
