Hello, my name is Maria and I’m fundraising for 2ndchancehealers.

Approximately eight years ago, we embarked on our journey, initially under a different name, which we later changed to 2nd Chance Healers. Our primary mission has been to provide care and support for animals in need, one paw at a time. While we typically refrain from soliciting donations, the influx of dogs in need of assistance has compelled us to reach out for support. Your contributions would greatly aid in covering veterinary expenses, purchasing food, attending to emergencies, acquiring crates, and other essential supplies.

Funding for the care of these animals primarily originates from personal finances, as we do not receive substantial external assistance. Presently, with an increasing number of dogs entering and exiting our care, our financial resources are strained. We anticipate the arrival of additional dogs, potentially totaling up to ten, further emphasizing the urgency of our plea for support.

Our commitment extends beyond mere provision, as we ensure that each dog receives necessary medical attention, vaccinations, and sterilization before being placed in a loving home. Moreover, we invest time and effort in basic obedience training and, in some cases, specialized service dog training, enhancing their prospects for a fulfilling life.
