Help The Children & The Grandmother Raising Them

Hi, I'm Libby Langdon, and it’s with a very heavy heart I’m sharing that my wonderful cousin Katie, 41 and a single mother of 4, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away of cardiac arrest on January 6th. She was a bubbly, sparkling spirit who loved life and found genuine delight in so many of the little things most of us take for granted. Katie adored being a mother and her biggest joys were her four children, Selkie (13), Teagan (9), Trysten (9) and Ronan (8). Her mother, my Aunt Cathy, is an amazing woman and she will now have the 3 youngest kids come live with her, she’s 78 years young and recently retired from her job at the local church. Would you consider donating to my fundraiser to help cover the costs to update my Aunt's home to get it ready for young kids to live there, legal custody costs, care associated for one of the children with special needs, counseling, and all the other costs that come with raising kids in today’s world? We're grateful for whatever support you can offer whether it's $50, $20 or even $5 is helpful. It all adds up. We just spent 4 days with everyone, celebrating Katie's life and spending time with her incredible kiddos. They have joyous, sweet, hopeful personalities just like their mom, and we want to do everything possible to help them strive and thrive through their grief and loss. My Aunt Cathy will have her hands full, but we know these children will grow up knowing they are loved by so many, and her mother will be missed but always in our hearts. A fundraiser like this isn’t anything I would ordinarily do but this is an extraordinary circumstance and seems like the exact reason GoFundMe exists.
