Help 4 Howard - loss of home & children from fire

Fairmount Neighborhood, Philadelphia, PA: On Wednesday, January 5, 2022, a fast moving early-morning fire destroyed the apartment building Howard lived in with several of his children and other family members. Howard  was able to get out, however, he sustained serious injuries, and more devastating - lost several children and family members to the fire.

 

To add insult to injury, Howard had been released from the hospital the day before the fire after undergoing heart-related surgery. Instead of resting, relaxing and gaining strength after his surgery, he has been severely traumatized - and seriously injured - by the deadly fire that destroyed his home and family members.

 

Howard will not be able to work for weeks, if not months, due to his recent surgery and subsequent fire-related injuries. This GoFundMe has been created so that when Howard is released from the hospital, he can spend whatever amount of time he will need to grieve and then heal from the trauma of losing his home and children. The funds raised will be given to Howard to spend as he sees fit.
