Help 4-Year-Old Hunter Recover Following Tragic Accident
Donation protected
On April 10th, Kristen's son Hunter, a bright and joyful 4-year-old boy, endured a tragedy no child should ever face. Hunter, who courageously battles cerebral palsy and epilepsy and is wheelchair-bound, was riding home in a school mini-van when an unimaginable accident occurred. The devastating crash at the intersection of Route 10 and Millbrook in Randolph claimed the lives of both women who transported him each day, as well as his 4-year-old classmate, and one other person.
Miraculously, Hunter survived, but his journey is far from over.
Immediately following the accident, Hunter was taken to the hospital and discharged, with doctors saying he was okay. But his mom, Kristen, knew something wasn’t right. Her son, who already faces so many battles, convulsed several times and was clearly in pain. Thanks to her unwavering instinct and advocacy, they soon discovered the truth: Hunter had a broken collarbone, displaced hips, and a concerning spot on his brain that now requires ongoing neurological evaluation.
Despite the pain, despite the trauma, Hunter keeps smiling, just like he always has. His resilience is nothing short of remarkable. Anyone who has had the privilege of knowing Hunter and his family, know the light he brings to this world, even on his toughest days.
Hunter’s road to recovery will be long and filled with not only physical healing but emotional healing as well. His family is navigating not only the grief of this devastating accident, but also the weight of the countless uncertainties ahead.
We humbly ask for your support, whether through a donation, a share, or simply lifting Hunter, his mom Kristen, and his family up in your prayers. Every little bit helps this brave boy get the care and healing he deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
