Help 50yr old Romani Woman injured in hit and run

This fundraiser has been created to help and bring light to Kristina Glaze, an American Romani woman of the Gabor clan. Kristina was hit by a vehicle in Defunika Springs, FL, whilst on her bike on 22nd of September 2022, and left to die. Included in her injuries is several fractured ribs, a clavicle fracture, a scapula fracture, a head injury and other injuries. She spent two weeks in the ICU.

FHP, Florida Highway Patrol, did nothing. They took a witness statement immediately after Ms. Glaze was found injured and not yet seen medical care. They closed the case against Ms. Glaze’s will, via letter by mail, not bothering to investigate whatsoever. Her insurance will not cover the costs of staying in the hospital she incurred.

Kristina has spoken out to the news, the newspaper, and the police. They have made it clear they do not want to help her.

Kristina was incredibly active for her age before this hit and run and now is left nearly immobilized.

Similar to most incidents happening toward Romani people and other marginalized people within the United States, we must speak out and demand justice for Kristina. She is a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt. Please help us minimize her medical debt/bills during this incredibly stressful time for her.
