Sweet case duffel bags for children in Foster Care

Hello all. My name is Sarah and I am the leader for a 2nd grade Camp Fire group in Long Beach, California. For our fundraiser this year, we would like to raise money for 15 "sweet cases" for the foster youth in our community. Below you will find some information on the program from the Foster Love website.

The Sweet Case Duffle Bag program began over a decade ago as a way to ensure that kids can move from placement to their forever home with dignity.

Many children going into foster care are given a trash bag to gather their belongings and move to their new home. With Sweet Case Duffle Bags, the focus is on replacing those trash bags with something that gives the children in foster care the dignity they deserve.

Our group has been together for three years and each year we do a community service project. The first year we did a beach cleanup to focus on the environment. The second year we make blankets for the animals in the animal shelter to focus on animals. This year we are hoping to focus on the people of our community through this program.
