In Memory of Yenula Hennaka

Hello. My name is Malia Hughes and I'm fundraising on behalf of Yenula Hennaka and his family. This sweet, kind, intelligent-beyond-his-years boy is a classmate of my youngest daughter. All of his fellow kindergarten classmates adore him!

At just 4 years old, Yenula's cancer was detected. By January 2021, he was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. In June 2021, he underwent surgery to remove his right side rib, successfully removing the cancer. Things were looking positive, but suddenly, this past April, Yenula suffered a relapse. The cancer has spread to both of his lungs. The chemo is not working.

All of his treatment has been at Cohen Children's Medical Center in Queens, NY, reasonably close to home in Staten Island. Unfortunately, there is nothing more they can do for him there. The family has decided to seek help from Dr. Anderson at the Cleveland Clinic, and that is where we come in.

It will take a lot of resources to help this dear family. Between flights, hotels, missing work and trying to stay as comfortable as possible during this very trying time, they will need all the help they can get. If you are able, please contribute. Any amount would be appreciated!
