Help Max with his long term medical fight

Our 9 year old grandson Max and his mom need our help. Max has 2 serious medical conditions both which have been complicated by a series of infections in his tummy and intestines. His mom works locally here in Santa Maria but this time hospitalization with Max has been prolonged and difficult for her. His care is out of town and has required 2 medical transports and now heading into his 3rd week of a hospital stay. We desperately want her to be able to stay with him and she will need  to be with him at home when he returns back to Santa Maria. His meds and care will require specialized treatment and medication. We want to help her stay at home for as long as needed and to let Max regain his strength.
With good care and no further setbacks he can return to school which is his biggest wish to be with his friends and classmates.
