Help Alaa and her family to survive the Gaza war

Hello everyone.

My name is Alaa Dawoud, from Palestine, 35 years old. I have 4 children, Yaman, Ghadeer, Mahmoud, and Misk. We live in Gaza.

I cannot believe what happened to me and my family. Everything was destroyed and we had nothing left.

Honestly, my family and I can only think about safety, getting rid of this crazy war, and how to get out of this miserable life.

The last months were full of death, fear, and displacement, and were a nightmare that destroyed our hope, our memories, and our homes. We did not expect that one day we would reach this difficult time. We love our country. We love our lives, but the life forms have disappeared.

Everything changed at the beginning of October 7th. After a week of war, we had to leave home, fleeing from random and staggering missiles. We left our house carrying our few clothes and personal belongings and took refuge in the city of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Despite this, the aggression, the bombing, all kinds of suffering, torment, violations, slow death, hunger, thirst, displacement, the spread of diseases, the inability to obtain any medical care, and the constant threat of death did not stop, and we were forced to leave the city of Khan Yunis and flee to the city of Deir al-Balah.

Despite this, the aggression and bombing did not stop, and my son Mahmoud, who was not more than 9 years old, suffered various injuries as a result of a missile strike on the displacement center in the city of Deir al-Balah, and he is still in a difficult health and psychological condition.

My husband lost everything in this war. He lost his home and his job. He is now in the most difficult circumstances, in great sadness and pain, watching us calmly and silently. It is not easy for us to see him in this state.
