I want to help Kelli
Donation protected
My sister, Kelli, is one of the most caring, selfless and loyal people I've ever met. She fully dedicates herself to her children and her family, always putting everyone else before herself. She goes out of her way regularly to ensure that we're all well cared for. Over the past few years, she's traveled 2,500 miles several times to care for me after surgery. And if she couldn't be with me physically, she was always in constant contact. Finding out that she has tumors in her head has made me think the worst, what if she wasn't here for us any longer?! While I don't want to be a negative Nancy, it is a possible outcome of the situation that we face.
In March 2022, Kelli suffered a random, massive seizure. She was rushed to the hospital and was told that she had three Meningiomas, tumors between the skull and the brain. One was so large, it pressing in on her brain is what caused her seizure. With the help of a good friend, we were able to locate a fantastic neurosurgeon very quickly. Upon visiting with him, Kelli found out that she actually had FIVE tumors. The tumor that caused her seizure will need to be surgically removed with a craniotomy procedure. After that, she'll need to undergo rounds of radiation therapy in order to remove the remaining tumors. Her craniotomy surgery is scheduled for April 2022.
Knowing the thoughts that I've had, I cannot even begin to imagine what Kelli is going through. I'm trying to raise funds to make this tough time a bit easier for her, as she's always done for me. My goal is to be able to pay her mortgage and utilities for 6+ months, in addition to her out-of-pocket medical expenses, so she can take the time to focus on her health. I want her to be able to take off work without the added stress of how to make it up. Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated. If you cannot donate, you can still help by sharing this page. Thank you for helping me help Kelli!!!
