Help Nada and her family to rebuilding their life

My story:

I am Nada Khalil from Gaza. I write these words after deep thought and hesitation, but my desire to save my family’s life exceeds all hesitations. I am here to ask you to help evacuate my family to a safer place, away from the hell of war where there is deprivation, pollution, disease, and cold. My father suffers from high blood pressure and gout, but the war prevented him from taking his medication for five months, which worsened his health condition, and my sister suffers from Hepatitis C virus due to contamination. We were displaced several times after the ground invasion,

Which led to the destruction and bombing of our house, our first destination was Deir al-Balah, but it was not spared from the missiles. After that, we were forced to flee to the city of Rafah, which they claimed was a safe city. At every moment of displacement, we suffered from inhumane conditions full of oppression and misery.

This is my home, we used to live safely in a warm home filled with happiness and reassurance, but now we are displaced, without shelter and the minimum necessities

of life.

‏This video shows an atmosphere of joy in my high school results, I obtained a GPA (98.9%) in the scientific stream and Fourth place in my school. I dreamed studying Architecture at the university, but my happiness was not complete due to the bombing of the university that I attended due to the war.

I am seeking an external scholarship to complete my education, which was not continued due to the war, and my desire to study Architecture to be a contributor to the reconstruction of Gaza and the renaissance of Palestinian Architecture.

Our present and future are fraught with danger, so I made this link after all paths had been cut off. Exiting Gaza requires expensive costs that exceed our capabilities in light of the continuing war and the family’s financial income being cut off for five months, We are six members, and coordinating the exit from Gaza requires $5,000 for one person.

In this war, we lost a lot of property, our home, my father’s work, my brother project, which was opened only a few months before the war, and our universities were destroyed. Therefore, there is no reason for us to stay in Gaza other than the danger approaching us and the loss of more. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in the lives of my family.

أنا ندى خليل من غزة، أكتب هذا الكلام بعد التفكير والتردد العميق، ولكن رغبتي في انقاذ حياة عائلتي تفوق كل الترددات. أنا هنا لأطلب منكم المساعدة في إجلاء عائلتي الى مكان أكثر أماناً، بعيداً عن جحيم الحرب حيث الحرمان والتلوث والمرض والبرد. والدي مريض ضغط ونقرص، ولكن الحرب منعته من تعاطي علاجه لمدة خمس شهور ما أدى إلى تفاقم حالته الصحية واختي تعاني من مرض فيروس الكبد الوبائي بسبب التلوث. نحن نزحنا عدة مرات بعد الاجتياح البري الذي أدى إلى تدمير وقصف منزلنا بالكامل، حيث كانت وجهتنا الأولى إلى دير البلح ولكن لم تَسْلَم من الصواريخ، بعد ذلك أظطررنا إلى النزوح إلى مدينة رفح التى ادَّعوا بأنها مدينة آمنة. وفي كل لحظة نزوح عانينا من ظروف غير انسانية مليئة بالقهر والبؤس، بعد أن كنا نعيش آمنين في بيت دافئ يملؤه السعادة والاطمئنان، ولكن الان مهجَّرون بلا مأوى وبدون ادنى مقومات الحياة. حاضرنا ومستقبلنا محفوف بالخطر، لذلك قمت بعمل هذا الرابط بعد انقطاع كل السُبُل، فالخروج من غزة يتطلَّب تكاليف باهظة الثمن وتفوق قدراتنا في ظل استمرار الحرب وتوقف الدخل المادي على العائلة طيلة الخمسة اشهر ، نحن ٦ أفراد وتكاليف التنسيق للخروج من غزة تكلف ٥٠٠٠$ للشخص الواحد. لقد فقدنا في هذه الحرب أعزاء علينا ، وخسرنا ممتلكات كثيرة ، و دُمِّرَ منزلنا وعمل ابي ومشروع اخي الذي لم يمر عل افتتاحه اشهر قليلة قبل الحرب وجامعاتنا، لذلك لا يوجد سبب يدفعنا للبقاء في غزة سوى اقتراب الخطر منا وفقدان المزيد. كل مساهمة بغض النظر عن حجمها، ستُحدِث فرقاً كبيراً في حياة عائلتي.
