Help the Peebles Family with Medical Expenses

*Names and faces of the child have been blurred or shortened in order to respect the families privacy* Hi, my name is Kyernan and I am a close friend of Daniel and Courtney Peebles. I wanted to start this GoFundMe to help the Peebles’ Family with all of the medical costs they have occurred in doing everything they can to find a diagnosis for their son, O. Between travel, hospital stays, tests, and all of the different types of specialists they have been referred to they have racked up a pretty penny all while still trying to find some answers. The child has an issue with their speech and can’t verbally communicate what’s going on which means they have episodes of screaming in pain while grabbing the left side of their body. Their pediatrician had mentioned that it could possibly be seizures and referred them to a neurologist where they were able to get them an MRI. After the MRI, they sadly didn’t get any answers and so that leads them to having to go to more doctors where there will be more tests, including overnight stays in hospitals, specialist visits and long term weekly therapies (physical, speech, etc.). The remaining in their out-of-pocket fees for their insurance is $8,000 and I’m hoping that we are able to help them reach that in order to get O the best possible diagnosis while giving the family the ability to focus on their child in their time of need instead of pesky insurance details. As we move forward, I will be using this page to update you all in the Peebles’ search for the diagnosis to help O!
