Help Rachel with hospice care

Hi,
My name is Amy and I am fundraising for my 47-year old sister Rachel who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer two years ago in the middle of the pandemic. Her cancer is extremely aggressive with a 5-year survival rate of only 15 per cent.
Rachel's treatment started within two weeks. At this time, Rachel was employed at a job that did not have benefits. She underwent 6 months of chemotherapy and six weeks of daily radiation to battle her cancer and lived off unemployment insurance until it ran out. Determined that cancer would not beat her, she viewed her treatments as her interim "job" and maintained a positive attitude often being a supportive shoulder to lean on for those further along in their cancer journey.
Just as Rachel was cleared to return to work, she went for a routine CT scan and the cancer had returned in two new locations requiring another round of treatment right away. With no EI, the government aid for someone with a severe illness is only $1,200/month. She does not have a partner, lives alone and was forced to live off her line of credit but fully intending to beat cancer and return to work.
In February of this year, Rachel received more bad news. Due to the repeated radiation of her larynx, esophagus and trachea, and the fact that her body is now resistant to chemotherapy, she can no longer fight this aggressive type of cancer. I was on the call with the doctors when they told us that she has 6 to 12 months left to live.

I am reaching out today to ask for your help for Rachel to support the at-home care that she requires now and into the future. She is suffering with extreme anxiety about being a burden on her family when she should be spending her energy moving through this phase as peacefully as possible.
Every dollar helps. All money raised will go directly to my sister.
Thank you,
