Keep the anthem playing at Stanford
Donation protected
My fellow Americans! You are all undoubtedly familiar with Paul Revere's famous cry. “The redcoats are coming! The redcoats are coming!”, and while we are now free from the yoke of the poor dental hygiene, pompous British, we now face an adversary just as great, self-hating Americans.
You might have seen a recent viral video of the national anthem being played at a Stanford fraternity party. The party which took place on May 11th was absolutely electric, but led to severe damages to the fraternity house and sound systems due to the sheer numbers and rambunctiousness of the attendees.
In addition, playing the anthem has since sparked controversy both on and off our campus. In an age where our country is more divided than ever, we seek to do our part in uniting our campus over sick parties, ice cold beers, and Toby Keith in the belly of the beast that is the Bay Area. But in order to do so, we need your help.
O’ Patriots, If you consider yourself a protector of American values, please consider donating to our cause. Half of our proceeds will go to the local VA, and half will go to supporting our ongoing efforts to unite our campus through electric events, where all can bear witness to the American spirit that still lives on in our hearts.
