Help Tom & Janet Rebuild What Was Lost
Donation protected
My name is Alyrose, and Janet & Tom are my beloved aunt and uncle. Their faith in God and unwavering kindness have touched so many lives, and now they need our support.
On March 15th, the devastating Crabapple Wildfire tore through Fredericksburg, TX, burning over 9,000 acres of land. Tom and Janet were forced to evacuate, leaving behind the home and life they had built with love.
When they returned, they found both a miracle and a heartbreak. While their home & the guest house were somehow spared—something insurance adjusters called unheard of—every other building was gone. Among the losses was Tom’s workshop, the heart of his craft and livelihood. Every tool, every piece of equipment—completely destroyed.
Tom is an incredibly gifted artist, woodworker, and jack-of-all-trades. His shop was more than just a workspace; it was a place of creativity, provision, and purpose. Losing it has been devastating—but there is hope.
A local builder has generously offered to rebuild Tom’s shop at cost, and with your support, we can make it happen. This GoFundMe will help cover the cost of rebuilding, replacing Tom’s tools, and giving Tom and Janet the support they need as they begin this journey of restoration.
No gift is too small—every donation is a step toward healing and renewal. Let’s come together and remind Tom and Janet that they are not alone. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. With your help, we can turn this loss into a new beginning.
