Help Support Two Beekeepers
Donation protected
We are Two Beekeepers, a small business located in the Chicago suburb of Wheaton, IL. As our name implies, there are only two of us. We have been producing locally sourced, natural honey since 2013. We started with 7 hives and have grown to as many as 60 hives over the years. We sell our products to local restaurants, shops and directly to consumers. We are now down to 24 hives and find ourselves, as many people are experiencing, in a very tight spot.
Our main income comes from renting booths at local craft shows and flea markets and selling our delicious honey directly to consumers. With the current shutdowns due to the pandemic, most of our shows have been cancelled and we fear more will be as time goes on. The money we earn with these early spring shows is critical for our business to survive! That money is what we use to purchase packages of bees to replace those that died off during the winter and to purchase food for the young hives to keep them alive until Mother Nature can take over with a bountiful honey crop. Tending to and maintaining these hives is also extremely labor-intensive and expensive.
We are down to 24 hives and the new bees are scheduled to arrive in April. Without your help, seriously, we could lose them all! Your support will help us keep our small business alive and allow us to continue supplying Nature’s purest food to our community.
Thank you!!
