Help a 3 year old boy to get a normal and healthy life

My name is Cecilia, I’m 27 years old and I’ve been living in Sri Lanka for the past two years. During my time here, I’ve developed a deep connection to the community and have been working to support those in need wherever possible. I am reaching out for help because I am connected to a little 3 year old boy who was born with a serious medical condition, meaning he doesn't have a proper opening for his rectum. He underwent an emergency surgery shortly after birth, which was a temporary solution. However to have a healthy and normal life the little boy is in urgently needs for a second surgery.

Without this procedure the boys health is at constant risk, and he will face numerous challenges later in life. The financial situation in Sri Lanka is incredibly tough and his family cannot afford the cost of this surgery. The family really need help, and because of protecting the reputation and image for the future, they like to stay anonymous.
