Help a beautiful Shipibo family build their home

Greetings familia!

I'm reaching out to all members of the community and anyone feeling called to assist in helping my soul brother Victor Gonzalez Barbaran and his family build a home for them to live in.

Victor is a Shipibo man from the Ucayali region in Peru. He is the son of Shipibo Maestro Francisco Vargas; together, they assist in the healing of many people with the traditional medicine Ayahuasca. I have been working with Victor for the past two years and have witnessed the fantastic work he does so selflessly. Aside from providing medicines, he is an active member of the San Francisco native Shipibo community.

He endlessly works to help those in need, sometimes even putting his and his family's needs to the side in the process. Victor currently is the caretaker of a piece of land in Yarinacocha, and he has been asked to leave by the end of the month. I've visited his humble home, which is in the beginning stages of building. There is an immediate need to finish floors for them to at least be able to move into some comfort. Ultimately, the goal is to help them complete their home where he lives with his wife Julie and their four wonderful children. Victor is an exemplary father and husband. He makes the most significant efforts to send all his children to school and works very hard to provide for his whole family, which is quite large. He and his family are so generous; although they don't have much, they never hesitate to offer their hearts and homes to the service of others. Below you will find some photos of their home in its current state. We trust in the generosity of the community to help us reach our goal by the end of this month. Anything helps. All the proceeds collected through this fund will go directly to Victor and his family and will be documented as he makes progress in the work needed. We are so thankful for all your donations and wish that whatever is donated is multiplied tenfold for all.
