We’re rallying together to support an incredibly kind and passionate man, Professor Glauco (Gominha), a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach who has dedicated his life to shaping the next generation. Through his tireless efforts, he has instilled confidence, resilience, and self-discipline in countless children. His unwavering commitment to creating a safe, positive, and encouraging environment has not only helped kids excel on the mats but also equipped them with valuable life skills. Professor Gominha’s classes were more than just lessons in Jiu-Jitsu—they were sanctuaries of growth, learning, and love. His ability to meet each child where they were and guide them with rare grace is a testament to his deep compassion and faith.
For those fortunate enough to know Professor Gominha, you understand the profound impact he has on the Jiu-Jitsu community. He is a passionate, genuine, and God-seeking leader, always putting others before himself. Recently, he made what seemed like a life-changing decision, moving his family halfway across the country to open his dream gym and begin the next chapter of his journey. With his own hands, he built a space that became a second home for his students—a place where confidence flourished, and dreams were nurtured.
Tragically, just a few short months after opening, he was terminated without notice, leaving his family in a desperate situation, especially during the holidays. They now face the heartbreaking uncertainty of how to provide for their basic needs. His eldest daughter, an exceptional student at the top of her class, has even offered to put her education on hold to help support her family during this challenging time.
We’re calling on everyone who has been touched by Professor Gominha’s kindness, dedication, and leadership to come together and support his family in their time of need. Your donation will help them cover basic necessities, provide stability, and remind them that their community stands behind them.
