Help a black queer filmmaker get their first job

Hi, my name is Ammara Khalid and I am a black non-binary filmmaker and photographer based in Chicago and Oakland. I am in my last semester in film school and I got the opportunity to work on a TV show that I am very passionate about. I will be a production assistant in New Orleans for 4 months and I will not make enough money to pay for all of my essentials in that time.

These funds will go to housing, which I am aiming to raise $3,500. It will also go to food and essentials which will be an estimate of $1,000 in that time frame and $1,000 to ship my car and/or drive to New Orleans from Oakland and pay for gas and any repairs I need to make before going to New Orleans. I was informed by the production company I am working for that I will need a car.
