Hello, my name is Amin. I’m an aspiring filmmaker and I set up this gofund me to help with my tuition fees for a screenwriting masters course in the UK. I live in Nigeria and I’ve had experience working in the tv industry. I got accepted into a school in England with a partial scholarship and I’m trying to raise the rest of the tuition fees. I’m following this route to further my dreams and live in an environment where I can access safe gender affirming care as a trans woman. As someone who wants to be visible as my true authentic self, it’s not safe to do so in a place like northern Nigeria.
