Help A Black Woman "Nail It"! HelpMe Raise Tuition
Donation protected
It has always been a dream of mine to open my own nail salon. For many years my dreams took a backseat as I had to choose between a steady paycheck or advancing my education. As a single mother, providing for both of my children alone, without any assistance, the latter never seemed like the right option. Finally, after years and years & building a support system that would allow me to pursue my goals, I started the process of establishing the paperwork needed to start a business as well as doing research to make informed decisions as a new entrepreneur. THEN Covid hit, and not only did my momentum come to a halt, but I lost my job in the process. With the help of a near and dear friend I have been able to do freelance assisting work to cover the cost of my expenses. In this solitude I have come to a realization that not only do I want to Own and Operate a salon, I also want to become skilled at the service(s) being offered. I want to not only make women feel beautiful, I want to give them opportunities, I want to show my daughter and my son that mommy never gave up, and she made it happen. So I am asking YOU! Friends, family, acquaintances to help me achieve the goal I have set to reach the first and most crucial step in attending school and becoming licensed so that I may start working in my field. Anything counts, and it is much appreciated. If you are not able to donate monetarily, please spread the word and pass this on. Many people have dreams, but the hustle is sold separately. I HAVE BOTH! Help me get there. Love you all!
Sincerely,
