Help a cancer stricken mom and her children

My name is Marta and I have a friend who desperately needs help. I am hoping you will join me in giving to her and her three children in their time of need. She is not on social media and I am choosing to keep her and her family anonymous at this time.

My friend is the mother of three children, all adopted. Two of the children have special needs. The third one also had special needs but she was able to work with him and get him to the point that he is functioning very well in a very rigorous high school environment.

She has always been nothing short of generous, always donating to one charity or another, running fundraisers and taking up collections for others. Now, she is the one in need.

A few years ago, she was diagnosed with cancer. She has already undergone multiple operations that have severely affected her ability to function. She has not been able to work and her medical issues have exhausted all of her funds. She has been given the news that the cancer may have spread to other parts of her body, is facing potential foreclosure on her home and will be unable to afford to purchase gifts for her children at Christmas. She has a 14 year old, a 10 year old and a 9 year old.

I believe in the Christmas spirit, the spirit of giving and kindness that can be found year round, but especially during this season. Please join me in helping this kind and generous soul and her children at this very challenging time in their lives.

I am hoping we can raise as much as we can over the next few weeks. Any moneys collected will go towards Christmas gifts, trying to catch her up on her mortgage, and daily expenses such as gas and food.
