Help a Caring Mother and Son Overcome Medical Crisis

Last week, my friend left work early regarding her youngest son. She had been taking him to the emergency room all weekend due to an ear infection. She took him to see his regular doctor for a follow-up, and he told her things he thought that should have been done at the ER and what signs to watch out for concerning the ear infection. Her son was placed on meds to make him better but he was never able to keep them down. Thursday, November 21st, she rushed home as her son told her he could not walk and keep balance. She rushed him to the emergency room yet again; this time, she expressed to them what the primary doctor had told her. My friend and her son have been in the hospital since, fighting an ear infection, mastoiditis, brain infection, meningitis and blood clots due to the infection. He has undergone surgery that thankfully went well, but she has been unable to come to work as she has been fighting and caring for her son. He will need intravenous antibiotics and blood thinners for 2-3 months, along with a home care nurse. As we all know, bills pile up, especially if you are the sole provider of the family. I am making this GoFundMe for her and her family because she would do the same. She is the type of person who would give her last to help ANYONE.
