Help a chef fight Cancer!

Donation protected
Honestly, the thought never crossed my mind when I turned 40 this year that my life would take a tragic turn and throw me a curveball. This week I found out that I have a rare form of bone marrow cancer called multiple myeloma.
Anyone who knows me would tell you I am a dedicated father of two amazing small boys, a dedicated healthcare chef, a husband, coach, a guy who would give the last buck in my wallet or the shirt if my back and the backbone of our family.
For me to even fill out this form is a humbling experience but facing the hard truth of what the next 6 to 8 months is going to look like is rough. Even though the road is long we found out today there can be a happy ending. This week I started a two week radiation treatment, then steriods, back to radiation, bone pills, tons of meds and then on to chemo, a bone rebuilding surgery for my humerus and finally a 30 day stem cell transplant and stay at Emory in Atlanta.

The funds, and I dont even know if this is enough is going to help mostly with the 30 days of treatment at Emory and the 4 to 6 cycles of RVD treatments.

Glad and Proud, love you all!
