Help a Content Creator Repair Their Computer
Donation protected
Hello, I'm trying to raise money to repair my computer. I am a FGC focused Content Creator and a freelance Graphic Designer/Video Editor and my entire revenue stream and day to day work is tied to my computer. After speaking with some friends and technicians, either 1 or both of my RAM sticks are corrupted and or my Power Supply is dying. With my current financial stuation, I have nowhere near enough to pay for the rapairs needed for my computer. To be transparent, I would need at least $100 for a professional diagnosis, at least another $150-$200 for parts and potentially $100-200 for labor. I currently have no other form of income and this is practically my lifeline, If you can help in ANY way shape or form, it would be GREATLY appreciated and if you can't donate, pls share with others.
- DETAILED SUMMARY ON WHATS WRONG WITH MY PC
2 days ago, my computer randomly reset itself while i was playing a game. I tried to boot the game back up after the restart and it immediately reset again. My friend and I assumed it was a temperature issue so i was planning to clean my computer, which required me to unplug everything and take off the glass panel. I realized I didnt have the proper tools to clean my computer (can of condensed air) so I decided to wait to get everything needed. After plugging everything back up I went to turn my computer back on and I heard a weird click/jolt sound coming from my computer. Afterwards, my computer refused tp boot up beyond the motherboard screen and is in a infinite boot loop and eventually takes me to a Windows Recovery screen. We then thought it was a Windows issue, similar to the CloudStrike situation that happened around July 2024, even big Youtuber, Maximilian Dood ran into my EXACT problem the same night I did (tweeted on Aug 2nd on his twitter page). I then decided to wipe my current windows and semi factory reset my windows to see if it would fix the issueand It partially did. I was able to do most things on my computer, but if Ii booted up ANY game, the computer would reset itself like before. This was a small win cause at least i would be able to do commissions. I turned my PC off last night (Aug 3rd) and when I tried to turn it back on the morning of Aug 4th, the same exact boot loop problem returned. That is my current situation with my pc as of Aug 4th.
